WEST GREENWICH, R.I., Jan. 6  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GTECH Holdings
Corporation  today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly
cash dividend of 17 cents ($0.17) per share, payable on January 30, 2004, to
shareholders of record on January 16, 2004.
