GameStop Corp., the world’s largest video game
and entertainment software retailer, today announced that it has renewed
its partnership with Major League Gaming (MLG), the first professional
video game league, as the presenting sponsor and official global video
game retailer for the MLG Pro Circuit through the 2008 season.

GameStop’s role as the presenting sponsor of
the MLG Pro Circuit includes a significant presence at each of the
professional competitions as well as through MLG’s
media distribution outlets, including television, mobile and online. The
partnership also leverages the extensive physical store and online reach
of the company’s more than 4,816 GameStop and
EB Games retail stores across the United States and worldwide, where
gamers and fans will have additional opportunities to deepen their
involvement in the MLG community.

The Boost Mobile Major League Gaming Pro Circuit Presented by GameStop
is holding pro competitions in seven cities in 2007: Charlotte, Secaucus
(The Meadowlands), Dallas, Chicago, Orlando, and Playoff and National
Championship rounds in cities to be announced.
