Freescale Semiconductor (NYSE:FSL) (NYSE:FSL.B) will host its second annual technology conference in India at Hotel Grand Ashok, Bangalore on Nov. 14 and 15. The forum will bring together developers, analysts, customers and partners of Freescale for panel discussions, technical sessions and interactive demonstrations on embedded semiconductor technologies for the automotive, networking, consumer, industrial and mobile communications markets. "Increased spending on electronics across industry sectors is driving the demand for semiconductor and embedded solutions,” said Ganesh Guruswamy, country manager and director, Freescale Semiconductor India Pvt. Ltd. “The Freescale Technology Forum provides India’s growing semiconductor design and electronics industry the opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies that are transforming lives across the world.” This year Subroto Bagchi, co-founder and COO, Mindtree Consulting, will present the guest keynote address on “Design Freedom in Embedded Development.” Senior executives from Freescale - Sumit Sadana, senior vice president, Strategy and Business Development and acting chief technology officer; and Sandeep Chennakeshu, senior vice president and general manager, Wireless and Mobile Systems Group - will also speak at the forum.
