Freescale Semiconductor (NYSE:FSL) (NYSE:FSL.B) is ahead

of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive set to go into effect 1 July.
The rule sets maximum concentration limits for lead, mercury and other
substances in new electrical and electronic equipment.
To help customers comply with RoHS rules as seamlessly as
possible, Freescale provides web-based product and material content
declaration data in XML or PDF formats. Customers can easily import
XML content into a database to demonstrate specific RoHS compliance
requirements. Freescale also maintains a searchable online product
catalog and RoHS-specific part numbering systems that streamline the
creation of RoHS-compliant devices and related declaration materials.
