                                  BOARD CHANGE


FairBriar PLC ("FairBriar") announces that Bruce Walker, an executive director
of FairBriar, has resigned from the Board with effect from today, 11 April 2003,
to pursue his other business interests.  He will, however, be retained by
FairBriar as a consultant to oversee certain outstanding projects.

Kevin McCabe, Chairman of FairBriar, said: "I would like to thank Bruce for the
significant contribution he has made to the Company over the last two years, and
wish him well for the future".
