WHAT: Fleet, the nation's seventh-largest bank, marks Women's History
Month by sponsoring a free workshop at the National Liberty
Museum on March 9th, 2004. Visitors at the event create
interactive poetry to celebrate women's history in the making,
and get to know trailblazing women past, present and future
with Museum tours and hands-on activity books.

DETAILS: Acclaimed poet Dr. Cathleen Cohen will lead a group of diverse
students and visitors in an interactive poetry-creating
experience to celebrate women's history ... and challenge
participants to create a bit of history of their own. The free
event also includes guided tours exploring the role of women in
history, and introducing visitors to fabulous female heroes at
the National Liberty Museum.
The open-house celebration is supplemented by a take-home
activity guide, "Women's History Month: Steel Magnolias," being
given to Museum visitors throughout the month of March.
