WHAT: Fleet, the nation's seventh-largest bank, is paying for
everyone's admission at a free open-house event at the National
Liberty Museum on February 26th, 2004. Visitors at the open-
house can explore the diverse roles that African Americans have
played in the development of our democratic system. The
program includes guided tours, hands-on activity books and
more.

DETAILS: This morning of guided tours and presentations introduces
visitors to black heroes at the National Liberty Museum, and
gallery areas that explore themes including America's
diversity, our nation's ongoing civil rights journey and the
universal quest for freedom.
The event is supplemented by a take-home activity guide, "Black
History: Not Just a Month," being given to Museum visitors
throughout the month of February. Sponsored by Fleet, the
activity book includes:
-- Interactive Museum quizzes about leading African-Americans

-- Feedback sections, including a space to draw dreams for the
future
