The U.S. Court of Federal Claims ruled against Exelon Corp. (EXC) in a tax dispute, ruling that the company can't use decommissioning costs for three nuclear plants to generate tax benefits, Bloomberg News reported Tuesday.
An Exelon spokesman said in a statement that "there is no associated liability or impact to Exelon's earnings," and said the company "will be evaluating the court's decision to determine whether or not to pursue an appeal," Bloomberg reported.
