Ensco Commences Public Offering of Class A Ordinary Shares

Ensco plc (NYSE:ESV) (“Ensco”) announced today that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of 50,000,000 Class A ordinary shares. Ensco expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 7,500,000 additional Class A ordinary shares. Ensco expects to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes.
