e-Smart Technologies Enters Into Cooperation Agreement to Provide
Biometric Smartcard System in Turkey
LAS VEGAS, Dec. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- e-Smart Technologies, Inc., (OTC
Pink Sheets: ESMT), a leader in biometric smartcard technology, announced today
that it recently entered into a Cooperation Agreement with two companies with
the goal of providing e-Smart's Biometric Verification Security System
(BVS2(TM)) and Super Smartcard(TM) as a City Smart Card and government
smartcard in Turkey, including a National ID Card. The two companies are
Olcsan Cad, an information technology provider in Istanbul, and Daewoo
International Corporation, a Korean multi-industry company.

Olcsan Cad is heavily involved in the Turkish smartcard market and operates as
the IT company of the Olcsan Group, which concentrates its efforts around

e-government arena, transport, health, access control and security systems.
Daewoo International Corporation is a leading global corporation specializing
in international trade, infrastructure, resources and project management.
Daewoo is partnered with e-Smart Technologies through its wholly owned
subsidiary, e-Smart Korea.
