ElkCorp (NYSE:ELK) subsidiary Elk Composite Building
Products, Inc., announced today that Elk has added a decking division
to its Elk Peak Performance(SM) Contractor Program, an exclusive
sales-incentive program designed to give qualified decking contractors
a leverage boost over the competition.
Contractors can earn rewards and build their business with
enhanced product warranty options and rebates, acquiring points for
selling Elk CrossTimbers(TM) brand composite decking, CrossTimbers
Signature Railing and RailWays(TM) composite railing systems. Points
can be redeemed for targeted marketing materials, personal rewards or
even ElkCorp common stock. The program also provides its members with
an online lead generation program, custom web page development, a
homeowner financing program and other benefits to help close more
sales.
"Not only do we provide personal incentives for quality decking
contractors to participate in our program, we also give them the
necessary branding tools to help them grow their business," said
ElkCorp Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Curt Barker.
"Homeowners can be confident they've made the right choice with an Elk
Peak Performance Contractor."
Elk Peak Performance Contractors can provide homeowners additional
value with either a 10- or 15-year limited warranty upgrade. The
enhanced warranty upgrades are a win-win for everyone, giving
contractors a competitive edge and the homeowner additional protection
on their investment.
Before accepting a decking contractor into the program, Elk
conducts a background check and verifies a clean work history with the
Better Business Bureau(R). Each Elk Peak Performance Contractor is
required to carry liability insurance and workers compensation (if
required locally). Above all, Elk Peak Performance Contractors must
maintain a 90% satisfaction rate from customer follow-up surveys to
keep their status in the program.
