8x8 to Present at Investor Conferences in January

8x8, Inc. (NASDAQ:EGHT), a provider of cloud-based unified communications, contact center and collaboration solutions, today announced that management will present at two investor conferences in January 2015.

Mary Ellen Genovese, Chief Financial Officer, will present at the Citi 2015 Internet, Media and Telecommunications Conference at 3:30 pm PT on January 6, 2015 at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.

Vik Verma, Chief Executive Officer, and Mary Ellen Genovese will present at the 17th Annual Needham Growth Conference at 11:20 am ET on January 13, 2015 at The New York Palace Hotel in New York City.

A webcast of each presentation will be available live on the investor section of the 8x8 website at http://investors.8x8.com. A replay will be available for 90 days.

8x8 also announced that on December 16, 2014, it awarded restricted stock units (RSUs) representing an aggregate of 48,950 shares of the Company’s common stock to 16 new non-officer employees under the 8x8 “2013 New Employee Inducement Incentive Plan.” The equity awards were approved by 8x8’s board of directors and were granted as an inducement to the new employees entering into employment with 8x8, in accordance with Nasdaq Market Place Rule 5635(c)(4). Each of the awards are subject to vesting pursuant to the terms of the award agreements, which include that the recipient be employed through each vesting date.
