NYSEG Declares Quarterly Dividends

ROCHESTER, N.Y., July 10  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The board of directors of New York State Electric & Gas Corporation (NYSEG) today declared the following quarterly dividends on preferred stock payable October 1, 2008 to holders of record at the close of business September 4, 2008.

        3.75%                         93.75 cents
        4 1/2%                        $1.125
