InfoSky and Descartes Alliance Streamlines Chinese Air Cargo Communication

Descartes Systems Group (TSX:DSG) (Nasdaq:DSGX), the global leader in uniting logistics-intensive businesses in commerce, announced that it has signed an alliance with InfoSky to streamline logistics messaging for the Chinese air cargo industry. The alliance federates the two organizations' respective networks to connect freight forwarders, ground handling agents, and air carriers on Descartes' Global Logistics Network™ (Descartes GLN™) with the similar China-based community using InfoSky's Cargo Community System (CCS).

These carriers can also provide electronic status updates on air cargo shipments for connected freight forwarders. InfoSky's China-based forwarders benefit by being able to submit cargo bookings and communicate electronically with air carriers connected to Descartes' GLN.
