Bernstein Liebhard LLP is investigating whether the Board of Directors of Del Monte Foods Company (“Del Monte” or the “Company”) (NYSE: DLM) breached its fiduciary duty to its shareholders in agreeing to sell Del Monte to an investor group led by funds affiliated with Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. (“KKR”), Vestar Capital Partners (“Vestar”) and Centerview Partners (“Centerview”).
