NEW YORK, May 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Harwood Feffer LLP (www.hfesq.com) is investigating potential claims against the board of directors of Cyan, Inc. ("Cyan" or the "Company") (NYSE: CYNI) concerning the proposed acquisition of the Company by Ciena Corporation ("Ciena") in transaction worth approximately $400 million.      

Under the terms of the transaction, Cyan shareholders would receive consideration equal to 0.224 Ciena common shares, 89% of which would be delivered in Ciena stock and 11% of which would be in cash, worth approximately $4.75 per share of Cyan owned.  Less than one year ago, when Cyan went public, its common stock traded above $11 per share.
