AXA, a leading financial protection company, has promoted Kevin Kennedy to head Individual Annuities for AXA in the US and he will report to Brian Winikoff, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of US Life, Retirement and Wealth Management for AXA US. Previously, Kennedy served as managing director and head of business development and 401(k) for AXA Distributors, LLC.

Kennedy rejoined AXA Distributors’ US operation in January 2011 after spending several years as chief distribution officer for AXA Global Distributors (AGD) in Paris. “Kevin's proven track record of success along with his deep knowledge of our business, clients and partners position him well for success leading this important business,” said Winikoff. “I look forward to continuing to work with Kevin in his new role.”

Prior to his overseas position, Kennedy was the divisional vice president of AXA Distributors’ Financial Planner and Retail Channels. His experience before joining AXA includes several distribution positions with Deutsche Bank Scudder, First Trust Portfolios and The Hartford.
