Join CIT In Donating One Million Meals

NEW YORK, Nov. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- CIT Group Inc. (NYSE: CIT) today announced a new campaign in partnership with Feeding America® inviting individuals to join in donating one million meals¹ to people in need.  Participants can help direct the donation by choosing to support Feeding America's Back Pack Program, Mobile Pantry Program or Senior Grocery Program.

To participate, follow the #GiveLikeYou hashtag on Twitter and Facebook and vote for one of the three Feeding America® Programs. Each vote will donate 10 meals to the program of choice. The #GiveLikeYou initiative builds on CIT's recently launched new brand proposition, Bank Like You.

$100 Monthly Savings, 100 Meals
In addition, for every opening of a Savings Builder account this Giving Tuesday through Dec. 20, 2018 at CIT's national online bank, CIT Bank, the company will donate 100 meals. The new digital savings product is designed to reward consistent savers and provides a higher rate for those who make a deposit of at least $100 each month.
