Cinergy Solutions Assists Knauf Insulation with Expansion; Leading insulation manufacturer invests $150 million to increase prod

Cinergy Solutions has commenced work on the design and
construction of a new Medium Voltage Electric System (MVES) at Knauf
Insulation's Shelbyville plant in Indiana. The $6.5 million
enhancement of the electric infrastructure is part of Knauf's decision
to increase production capacity by up to 50%.
   Knauf Insulation needed to grow in order to meet global demand and
stay competitive. The decision to expand the existing plant rather
than build a new plant elsewhere reflects the company's commitment to
its employees as well as the town of Shelbyville. "We're seizing this
opportunity to expand and modernize our plant, thus positioning
ourselves for future success," said Bob Britton, Knauf's president.
"The Cinergy Solutions team has not only demonstrated superior
expertise and capabilities in energy solutions; it has also shown an
