Cinergy Schedules Third Quarter Earnings Release and Conference Call

Cinergy Corp. (NYSE:CIN) today announced that it will
release its third quarter 2005 earnings results on October 27, 2005,
and that a conference call to discuss these results with financial
analysts has been scheduled for 9:00 a.m. EDT on that day.
   Investors, news media and other interested parties may listen to a
live audio webcast of the conference call at www.cinergy.com. The
webcast will be archived on the website for approximately 60 days.
