Honeywell International Inc. (HON) Thursday said it has signed a deal with China Eastern Airlines Corp. Ltd. (600115.SH) making it the first company in China to repair aircraft auxiliary power units.
China Eastern will be the first warranty and third party repair center in China for the 131-9 series power units, according to a statement from the U.S.-listed aircraft components maker.
Honeywell will provide China Eastern with engineering expertise and support as part of the deal, it said.
