TUPELO, Miss., Jan. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- At its regular quarterly meeting today, the Board of Directors of BancorpSouth, Inc. (NYSE: BXS) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.075 per common share.  The dividend is payable April 1, 2015 to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 16, 2015.

BancorpSouth earlier reported net income of $28.7 million or $0.30 per share for the fourth quarter of 2014.

BancorpSouth, Inc. is a financial holding company headquartered in Tupelo, Mississippi, with $13.3 billion in assets.  BancorpSouth Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of BancorpSouth, Inc., operates approximately 300 commercial banking, mortgage, and insurance locations in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas, including an insurance location in Illinois.
