Bedford Property Investors Declares Payment of Dividends on Its Outstanding Preferred Stock

Bedford Property Investors, Inc. (NYSE:BED) announced
today that its board of directors has declared a dividend of $1.09375
per share of the company's Series A Cumulative Redeemable Preferred
Stock and a dividend of $0.47656 per share of the company's Series B
Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock. The dividends on the Series A
preferred stock are payable on October 17, 2005 to the holders of
record of the Series A preferred stock as of September 30, 2005, and
the dividends on the Series B preferred stock are payable on October
17, 2005 to the holders of record of the Series B preferred stock as
of September 30, 2005.
