NEW YORK, March 30  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Alliance World Dollar Government Fund, Inc. (NYSE:AWG), a registered closed-end investment company, today announced earnings for the first quarter ended January 31, 2007.

Total net assets of the Fund on January 31, 2007 were $128,169,706, as compared with $132,699,854 on October 31, 2006 and $130,212,209 on January 31, 2006.  On January 31, 2007 the net asset value per share was $14.41 based on 8,897,497 shares outstanding.
