AIM Investments(R) Announces Shareholder Approval for Reorganization of AIM Floating Rate Fund

AIM Investments announced that the proposed
reorganization which provides for the conversion of AIM Floating Rate
Fund from a closed-end interval fund into an open-end fund has been
approved by fund shareholders.
   The reorganization is expected to be completed by April 13, 2006.
The fund will close to new investors at the close of business April
11, 2006.
