AIM High Income Municipal Fund to Commence Limited Reopening on May 1

  
    
  
  
    
      AIM Investments has announced that the management team of AIM High 
      Income Municipal Fund has approved reopening the fund to new investors 
      for a limited time as a result of new investment opportunities.
    
    
      The fund will reopen to all investors commencing with the start of 
      business on May 1, 2007, through the close of business on or about May 
      31, 2007. The fund has been engaged in a limited offering of its shares 
      since April 21, 2006.
    
    
      Also, effective April 1, 2007, Gerard M. Pollard was added as portfolio 
      manager to AIM High Income Municipal Fund, joining senior portfolio 
      manager Franklin Ruben. Mr. Pollard has worked with AIM’s 
      Municipal Bond Team since 1999 as a senior fixed-income analyst.
