Bogotá D.C., November 30, 2021. Avianca Holdings S.A. (the “Company” or “Avianca”) informs that, in the context of the Company’s Chapter 11 proceedings (“Chapter 11”), today, in compliance with the Equity Conversion and Commitment Agreement (the “ECCA”) and the reorganization plan confirmed by the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York (the “Plan”) Avianca capitalized certain assets and outstanding advances (registered as “advances for future capitalizations”) that Avianca had previously contributed to its subsidiary Aerovias del Continente Americano S.A. Avianca.

The Company reiterates that, as disclosed to the market on prior occasions, the Company’s current shareholders (including ordinary shareholders and preferred shareholders) will not receive any distribution as established by the Plan.
