AGL Resources Board of Directors Declares Quarterly Dividend

ATLANTA, Aug. 1  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of AGL Resources Inc. (NYSE:ATG) has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.42 per share on the company's common stock.  The dividend will be paid September 1, 2008 to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 15, 2008. The dividend payment will mark the 243rd consecutive quarterly dividend the company has paid since 1948.
