      American Land Lease, Inc. (NYSE:ANL), 
      a Clearwater-based self-administered and self-managed real estate 
      investment trust (“REIT”) 
      engaged in the ownership, development, expansion, management and 
      acquisition of residential land lease communities, was named the 
      Manufactured Home Community Operator of the Year by the Manufactured 
      Housing Institute and the 2007 National Congress and Expo for 
      Manufactured and Modular Housing.
    
    
      Members of the manufactured and modular housing industries gathered in 
      Las Vegas to recognize individuals and companies for their vision, 
      dedication and extraordinary achievements. The National Industry Awards, 
      presented during the 2007 National Congress and Expo for Manufactured 
      and Modular Housing, recognizes the highest achievers from all sectors 
      of the manufactured and modular housing industries – 
      communities, retailers, suppliers, lenders, manufacturers, developers 
      and state associations. Every year industry leaders vote for the 
      individuals and companies that are considered the best in their class. 
      This year’s winners have shown great 
      leadership and commitment to the industry over the last year. These 
      award winners have been chosen by their peers to be honored with the 
      prestigious 2007 manufactured housing industry awards.
    
    
      American Land Lease was selected by its industry peers as the 
      Manufactured Home Community Operator of the Year. Accepting the award on 
      behalf of the company was its President, Bob Blatz, and one of its 
      Regional Managers, Valerie Mousaw.

      American Land Leases interests includes owner or ground lessee in 31 
      residential land lease communities including one recreational vehicle 
      park with an approximate total of 8,044 operational home sites, 1,192 
      developed home sites, 1,566 undeveloped home sites and 129 recreational 
      vehicle sites at December 31, 2006.
