This proxy statement supplement is being furnished to stockholders of Alon USA Energy, Inc., or Alon, in connection with their consideration of the matters to be acted upon at the 2016 Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the “Annual Meeting”), as set forth in the Company’s proxy statement filed March 31, 2016 (the “Proxy Statement”).
