Aetna Completes $1 Billion Bond Offering

Aetna (NYSE: AET) today announced that it has completed a public offering of $1 billion of 3.875 percent senior notes due in 2047. The company intends to use the proceeds of the offering to repay a portion of its 1.5 percent senior notes and floating-rate senior notes, both due in 2017, and for general corporate purposes.
