Adams Diversified Equity Fund, Inc. (NYSE:ADX) continued its outperformance, reporting a total return on net asset value of -4.9% for the nine months ended September 30, 2015, ahead of the S&P 500 return of -5.3% and the Lipper Large-Cap Core Mutual Funds Average (Lipper Peer Group) return of -6.2% for the same period. The total return on Adams Diversified Equity's market price was -5.8%.

For the twelve months ended September 30th, the total return on Adams Diversified Equity's net asset value, with dividends and capital gains reinvested, was -0.4%. Comparable figures for the S&P 500 and the Lipper Peer Group were -0.6% and -2.2%, respectively. The total return on Adams Diversified Equity's market price was -0.6%.
