Four ACCO Brands Products Make ‘GOOD’

“GOOD” design is appearing in offices across the country. Four new products from office products leader ACCO Brands Corporation (NYSE:ABD) have been honored with 2010 GOOD DESIGN Awards. Conferred by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design together with The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, the annual GOOD DESIGN Awards recognize the world’s most prominent designers and manufacturers who advance new and visionary product concepts.

“With a record number of submissions from 37 countries, this was the largest and strongest competition in the history of the GOOD DESIGN Awards. We had more corporate participants than ever along with the best and most substantial designs we have seen,” said Christian Narkiewicz-Laine, Museum President and CEO of The Chicago Athenaeum.

The four honored ACCO Brands products were introduced by Swingline and GBC:

• Swingline Smooth Grip Stapler – This new stylish design is uniquely contoured for exceptional handheld comfort, precision and control; it’s made with high-impact plastic that’s built to last.
