indiePUB Announces Development of Social-Centric Indie Games Publishing Platform

   indiePub, a subsidiary of Zoo Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZOOG), is proud to announce it is close to completing the development of its unique, indies-only publishing platform called

By integrating e-commerce with social networking capabilities, the new indiePub service will allow any developer, consumer or content publisher to create an online Pub where they can sell, share and market apps.

indiePub has been actively researching and developing its service for more than a year, incorporating feedback from frustrated indie developers who have been looking for a single place where they can safely sell and distribute their games across multiple devices. The result is indiePub's unique distributed delivery system with integrated social networking technologies that will provide a cohesive, cross-platform application delivery service.

"We were asked by numerous independent game developers to create a 'Steam for indies,'" said David Reynolds, indiePub's VP of Gaming. "The new indiePub marketplace will give indie developers a way to tap into the growing multi-billion dollar digital download market and make money with their games by combining innovative crowd-sourced marketing with unique developer-controlled distribution tools. Instead of a site telling them how, when and for how much to sell their games, indiePub will enable publishers to independently control these without limiting distribution to only one or two platforms. We're working to make indiePub run on any device that can download apps."

Thanks to a proprietary API and digital rights management (DRM) wrapper, almost any digitally distributable game -- including iOS, Android, Windows-PC, Macintosh and Flash -- can be a part of indiePub.

The heart of indiePub will be its community of developers, Pub owners and consumers who will converge through traditional and social mechanisms to discus, rate, recommend, share and distribute apps. Anyone will be able to open a Pub and, using their favorite social networking services (including Facebook, Twitter, blogs and websites), begin making money.

The indiePub service will be available to everyone beginning Q4 2011.
