Western Sierra Bank to Move Corporate Headquarters to One Capitol
Mall, Sacramento, California
CAMERON PARK, Calif., May 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Western Sierra Bank,
the largest subsidiary of Western Sierra Bancorp (NASDAQ:WSBA) is moving their
Cameron Park, California corporate headquarters and combining it with a new
financial center located at One Capital Mall, Sacramento, California, by the
early fourth quarter. The decision to move the bank's corporate headquarters
and open a new financial center was because of the importance of the Downtown
Sacramento market and the existing client relationships in the area. "With
Western Sierra Bank's focus on business and private banking, we need to be
Downtown and I'm hoping that the move makes a statement that we're serious
about our contribution to the area as a community partner and the business
stays here locally. Our goal is to become the community bank of choice,"
stated Kirk N. Dowdell, President and CEO, Western Sierra Bank. The prominent
location with the signage wrapped around the building, gives the bank
visibility from Interstate 5 and completes a three year branch expansion plan
to serve the business banking needs throughout the Greater Sacramento Region
with a network of 13 financial centers.
The new corporate headquarters and financial center will be located on the 6th
floor of One Capitol Mall, with 7,000 square feet and an impressive view of the
Capitol, the Tower Bridge, the Sacramento River and Downtown Sacramento. The
new business financial center will resemble a professional living room with a
dramatic open lobby that includes a client greeting area, merchandising, online
access, sit down teller line, and a plasma TV. There's space for up to eight
Relationship Bankers, who not only provide financial solutions but unbelievable
service in a private office setting. The warm environment creates a comfortable
atmosphere for clients and prospects to discuss financial services. Corporate
Administration, Retail Banking, Private Banking and Commercial lending
Division, Sacramento will be moving to the new Corporate Headquarters.
