Wellstone Receives FTC Testing Facility Results 


DURHAM, N.C., March 23  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Wellstone Filters (OTC:WLSF)
(BULLETIN BOARD: WLSF)  announced that it has received results from an
independent FTC testing facility that confirm the Company's expectations for
their patented filter technology.

Test results showed significant reductions in tar and nicotine and similar
reductions of other classes of known carcinogens.  "We are delighted with the
results and will go into production immediately," stated CEO L.J. Hand.

Wellstone believes that its patented filter formulation removes tars and
certain carcinogens, without compromising taste. However, any claim as to the
benefit of any Wellstone cigarette to be sold will be made within the
parameters prescribed by the Federal Trade Commission. Wellstone emphasizes
