World Airways Signs Dc-10 Cargo Contract

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga., Jan. 12  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- World Airways, a wholly owned subsidiary of World Air Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:WLDAE), has signed a contract with an international freight forwarder to provide DC-10-30F cargo service for nine months, through Sept. 30, 2006.

"World Airways will operate five international round trips a week under the contract, which has an estimated value of $11 million," said Rob Binns, World Air Holdings chief marketing officer.
