Witness Enterprise Solutions, a division of global workforce
optimization software and services provider Witness Systems (NASDAQ:
WITS), today announced its Impact 360™
Workforce Optimization for Retail Financial Services solution. The
announcement follows the company’s successful
acquisitions last month of the market’s two
leaders in enterprise productivity and resources planning for the
financial services market: Demos Solutions and Exametric. As Witness
Enterprise Solutions, the group features software and services dedicated
to the retail financial services market –
uniting such functions as workforce management, quality analysis,
performance management and eLearning, all through a single solution
provider.
Impact 360 for Retail Financial Services addresses a challenge that
spans the enterprise – striking a balance
between maximizing customer satisfaction and increasing revenue, while
also controlling costs. This is complicated further by the fact that it
takes many different functions within the enterprise to service the
customer. According to Forrester Research, bank branches continue to
drive satisfaction and sales, and are growing in number. While many
customers call service lines for help with specific issues, 45 percent
also visit the branch to meet their needs. This reinforces the need for
branch stores, contact centers and back-office operations to work
together to optimize performance and effectiveness of their people,
processes and technologies. By helping organizations break down the
walls between siloed departmental banking functions, Impact 360 can
schedule staff and maximize resources, as well as capture, analyze and
act on cross-functional information concerning workforce performance,
customer interactions and customer service processes.
With Impact 360 for Retail Financial Services, organizations can
experience new levels of efficiency and effectiveness, retain and grow
their workforces, reduce operating costs, increase profitability,
streamline service across channels, and build customer loyalty and
confidence. The software automates, optimizes and manages resources at a
variety of different levels – transactions,
individual, team and business unit. With the ability to accurately
forecast demand, schedule and strategically leverage enterprise
personnel and resources, financial services organizations, Impact 360
for Retail Financial Services enables organizations to tap into
additional resources within their operations.
Additional Impact 360 for Retail Financial Services capabilities include
the ability to:
Forecast transaction volume and schedule staff
Track, capture and analyze screen navigation/key strokes on employee
desktops
Gauge process efficiencies
Score staff performance using custom-designed evaluation forms
Create forms, reports and graphs to summarize performance
Identify best practices and use them to produce eLearning courses
Evaluate staffing mix and determine long-term hiring and training
requirements
Improve performance by managing to key performance indicators (KPIs)
using role-appropriate scorecards
Achieve banking service excellence by applying best practices
“Our retail financial services customers will
greatly benefit by working with a single workforce optimization vendor
for their staffing, scheduling, quality, analysis and training needs,”
said Darryl Demos, general manager, Witness Enterprise Solutions. “By
combining the technology and resources from Demos Solutions and
Exametric with the Witness Systems’ workforce
optimization solution, business units from across the retail financial
services enterprise can experience the same level of innovation already
used in contact centers today.”
