NEW YORK, July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Quest Software Inc. (NASDAQ:QSFT) will replace Wind River Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:WIND) in the S&P MidCap 400 after the close of trading on a date to be announced. Wind River is being acquired by S&P 100 & 500 constituent Intel Corp. (NASDAQ:INTC) in a tender offer expected to expire soon.
