On February 24, 2016, the Board of Directors of Wilshire Bancorp, Inc. approved a cash dividend of $0.06 per common share, payable on April 15, 2016, to stockholders of record at the close of business on March 31, 2016.  A press release announcing the cash dividend payment was issued on March 1, 2016. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.

Wilshire Bancorp Declares $0.06 Cash Dividend

 

LOS ANGELES (March 1, 2016) — Wilshire Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: WIBC), the parent company of Wilshire Bank, announced today that the Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per common share. The dividend will be paid to all stockholders of record as of March 31, 2016, payable on April 15, 2016.
