Whittier Energy Corporation (NASDAQ:WHIT) announced
today that its two registration statements on Forms S-3, which
register Whittier common stock for resale by selling stockholders
named in those registration statements, have been declared effective
by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The registration
statements together cover sales by selling stockholders of up to
9,577,772 shares of Whittier's common stock.
