Woodward Awarded PurePower(TM) Engine Components by Hamilton Sundstrand

  Woodward Governor Company (NASDAQ: WGOV)
announced today that Hamilton Sundstrand selected the company as its
exclusive provider of specific engine components for the Pratt & Whitney
PurePower(TM) engine program.

Woodward will provide Hamilton Sundstrand high- and low-pressure stator vane actuators and oil valve packages. The PurePower engine family includes the new PW1000 engine for the MRJ (Mitsubishi Regional Jet) and the Bombardier CSeries single-aisle aircraft families, both launched last year, as well as an Advanced Turbofan engine.
