As part of Walgreens (NYSE: WAG) (Nasdaq: WAG) sponsorship of “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice®,” the finalists and their signature Good & DeLish™ premium ice cream flavors were announced during the first of two season finale episodes. Trace Adkins and Penn Jillette participated in the show’s challenge to create unique flavors of premium ice cream that are only available at Walgreens and Duane Reade stores. Adkins’ created a “Maple Macadamia Mash-Up” flavor and Jillette invented the “Vanilla & Chocolate Magic Swirtle.”

Viewers can help determine which celebrity's charity of choice receives an additional $100,000 donation from Walgreens by heading to their local Walgreens this week and purchasing their favorite celebrity flavor- while supplies last. The top-selling celebrity flavor will influence which celebrity's charity of choice receives the donation–Adkins’ charity is American Red Cross, and Jillette’s charity is Opportunity Village.

“Once again, we are thrilled to be a part of ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ and look forward to sharing the finalists’ Good & DeLish premium ice cream flavors with our customers nationwide,” said Bryan Pugh, vice president of merchandising, store design and well experience for Walgreens. “This product challenge further supports the wide variety of innovative and premium Good & DeLish products that Walgreens offers.”

Sampling will take place at select Walgreens and Duane Reade locations nationwide.
