Verigy and DELTA Microelectronics Collaborate to Support Fabless Semiconductor Companies in Europe for RF Applications

  
    
  
  
    
      Verigy (NASDAQ: VRGY), a premier semiconductor test company, today 
      announced an agreement with DELTA Microelectronics, a leading provider 
      of engineering and testing services to fabless semiconductor companies 
      in Europe. Verigy and Delta are collaborating to provide best-in-class 
      engineering, ramp-up and final testing support, in Europe as well as in 
      Asia and the U.S. DELTA has purchased two Verigy V93000 Pin Scale 
      systems with RF capability, which will be used for engineering, 
      characterization and volume test on wafer and in final test for 
      high-performance RF applications such as Bluetooth, GSM, UWB, FireWire 
      and W-LAN. As part of the arrangement, Verigy will provide test 
      expertise and support to DELTA customers.
    
    
      DELTA selected the V93000 RF test solution for the excellent yield and 
      throughput of its unique multi-site test capability, which enables lower 
      test cost per good device. In addition, Verigy is adding test know-how 
      to support these customers and will also provide support as the devices 
      are outsourced.

      The two companies will exhibit jointly May 14 – 
      15, 2007 at the 2007 IET (The Institution of Engineering and Technology) 
      & FSA (Fabless Semiconductor Association) International Semiconductor 
      forum in Paris, France.
