Verigy Recognized as '10 BEST' ATE Supplier in VLSI Research 2006 Customer Satisfaction Survey; VLSI's 2005 Survey Results in '

Verigy Ltd. (NASDAQ:VRGY) today announced that
semiconductor equipment customers have selected the company as a '10
BEST' automated test equipment (ATE) supplier in the annual VLSI
Research Customer Satisfaction Survey. Customers representing 95% of
the worldwide chip production market ranked Verigy as a leading ATE
supplier, rating the company highly in Uptime, Quality of Results,
Build Quality, Product Performance and Technical Leadership.
   Additionally, VLSI Research provided an overall 'Five Star' rating
to Verigy based on its 2005 Customer Satisfaction Survey. These
ratings are awarded based on a company's overall performance as it
relates to equipment performance and customer service when compared to
others in the industry. Verigy received five-star ratings in the
survey categories of Quality of Results, Product Performance,
Technical Leadership and Commitment.

Making Equipment is the only publicly available opportunity for chip

highest by their customers. The results for the 2006 survey were drawn
from a distribution of 44,130 questionnaires sent worldwide to
companies in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, Europe and North America
among others. According to VLSI Research, the companies that responded
to VLSI Research's customer satisfaction survey represented 95% of
worldwide chip production in 2004.
