      Verigy (NASDAQ: VRGY), a premier semiconductor test company, today 
      announced it has been awarded the 2006 North American Frost & Sullivan “Excellence 
      in Technology” Award for systems-on-chip (SOC) 
      testing solutions. Verigy was recognized for its creation of the Verigy 
      Pin Scale HX card, a best-in-class high-speed card technology for its 
      Verigy V93000 SOC testers. The Frost & Sullivan Excellence in Technology 
      Awards recognize companies for outstanding achievement in technological 
      innovation, strategic product development, leadership and customer 
      service. Recipients are selected by Frost & Sullivan industry analysts 
      after extensive evaluation and research.
    
    
      The Verigy Pin Scale HX is the first solution in the market to support 
      device characterization for high-speed devices and interfaces with data 
      rates up to 12.8 Gigabits per second (Gbps). The high data rates ensure 
      a high signal integrity, which is required for thorough at-speed design 
      characterization and production test of the new generation of device 
      interfaces such as PCI Express®, 
      HyperTransport™, and serializer/deserializer 
      (SerDes), as well as emerging high-speed memory and ultraspeed datacom 
      interfaces.
