BEIJING, Nov. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Vimicro International Corporation (NASDAQ: VIMC) ("Vimicro" or the "Company"), a leading video surveillance technology and solution provider in China, today announced that Mr. Peter Li, CFO of the Company, has resigned from the Company due to personal reasons, effective October 31, 2015.

He played a leading role in bringing Vimicro's video surveillance story to domestic Chinese investors through collaboration with leading Chinese brokerage houses, resulting in dramatic expansion of company's valuation.
