Universal Automotive Promotes William Stock To Senior Vice
President Supply Chain
ALSIP, Ill., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Universal Automotive
Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ:UVSL) today announced the promotion of William Stock
to senior vice president of supply chain, having previously served as vice
president manufacturing for the last two and one-half years.
Among Stock's new responsibilities will be to lead a team charged with
accelerating the implementation of a cross functional business program between
internal and external suppliers, distribution and purchasing. He reports
directly to Arvin Scott, Universal's president and chief executive officer.

Prior to joining Universal as vice president manufacturing in 2002, Stock had
more than 17 years of automotive industry experience, including five years as
general manager of a Tier 1 supplier to Ford and Daimler Chrysler. He also was
manager of engineering and quality Allied Signal (now Honeywell). Stock earned
a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
