Law Offices of Howard G. Smith announces that it is investigating potential claims against the board of directors of Microtune, Inc. (“Microtune” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ:TUNE) related to the Company’s agreement to be acquired by Zoran Corporation (“Zoran”). The proposed all-cash transaction is valued at approximately $166 million.

Under the terms of the definitive agreement entered into by the parties, Zoran will pay Microtune shareholders $2.92 in cash for each share of the Company’s common stock they own. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2010.
