Item 8.01. Other Events.

On December 13, 2007, TomoTherapy Incorporated (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its intention to change its ticker symbol from TTPY to TOMO effective January 1, 2008. The ticker symbol TOMO was not available at the time of the Company’s initial public offering, but is now available and reserved for the Company. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
